1. HEALTH- One of the biggest blessings in our life are the things we take most for granted, like our health. To have good health is something that cannot be measured monetarily, it is something that is irreplaceable. For some people in a moment, the life that they thought they had ahead of them, changes in an instant when they receive a Fatal diagnosis or experience a sudden tragedy. Their life is changed forever and now they have to accept what has been given to them. To have good health is a precious gift that can never be bought, no matter how high the price.
3. Precious Moments- If I could put my Life's precious moments into a treasure box and seal it up so they would never leave, I would, because these are the most valuable things in my life. The moments I spend with my family, the milestones I see our children reach, the moments that I would never trade for any amount of money in this world. This past Christmas, I had started a new job. I had only been working for one week, when our children's Christmas program was during the day in the middle of the week when I had to work. Even though I was new, I asked my boss if I could leave for one hour to go see the kid's program. My boss made it happen, for me to leave to go watch them. Call me sappy, but I was literally in tears so happy that I was able to go to their program. The older they get, I realize I will not get too many of these Precious Moments to see them sing in a Christmas program. It was the most valuable, best Christmas gift I received. Don't let too many precious moments pass by, because one day we may not be in good health or have the time to appreciate them.
4. Life- There is not a price tag or value one can put on a person's life. A person's life is invaluable. What we do with our lives matters. Our Lives are precious gifts. There is no greater a gift, than the gift of life. The fact is, there are over 120,000 people waiting for organ transplants and over 14 million people diagnosed with cancer per year just in the United States. When a person experiences a shortage of these treasures in life, of no more time left, poor health, and a threat to their life, it can become very burdensome for a person to deal with. It makes one start to focus on the precious moments of life and not all the small stuff. Focus shifts to what is really important, the precious moments. When a person's health, time, and life is threatened precious moments is sometimes all they have. Life does not give second chances, our perspective does. How we treat one another, what we do with our lives, Matters. Making a difference in someone's life, showing kindness, being a good friend, giving someone hope, are among some of the precious gifts that can be given to another. I think that when kindness is given, it increase the value of life. Life is so much sweeter when there is kindness. True Treasures lie in the kindness of our hearts. This life is so valuable, not something to waste or throw away. Before you know it, time will have run out, one's health may be out the door, and precious moments may be all gone. These are the treasures of life to be had right now. Cherish every moment.
